Caitlin's First Christmas

Caitlin was rather un-interested in the whole opening presents at Christmas, but she had a good time nonetheless. Here are some pictures of our trip to Nebraska.

In case you are worried that she doesn't have her coat on, it was 50 degrees and she was plenty warm! All was well with the toboggan until Uncle Allen moved it, then we had two crying babies, Caitlin and Benjamin.

Playing Ball

Caitlin's new favorite game is playing ball. She likes to play with anyone (or any dog) who will play with her. Sometimes she just plays 'fetch' with herself. Here she is playing ball with Daddy across the coffee table:

We got about 3 inches of snow yesterday and today. It is very pretty.

All our Christmas presents are bought and wrapped. Can't wait for Christmas to arrive!!

Finally getting teeth!

Caitlin's teeth are finally starting to come in. Now if they could just break the skin! It looks like she'll get the bottom 4 teeth at about the same time. She has 4 large bumps on her gums and they are really white! It looks really painful, but she doesn't seem to be too bothered by them. She rubs on them a lot, but has still been sleeping through the night and is eating ok. I'm guessing she'll at least have a few for Christmas. :-)

First signs!

Caitlin can sign milk now! We are so excited! She did it for the first time Sunday night. She did it again a couple times yesterday and she did it this morning. We are so glad she is finally picking it up. Now if she can just remember to do it instead of fussing. She's not real consistent yet, but she has definiately done it a few times! :-)

Caitlin and Santa

Caitlin got to see Santa twice over the weekend. Once was in Kansas City at the Crestwood Christmas. Here she is with Santa and Grandpa Sand.

She wasn't scared, but she was bundled up so tight that she couldn't even move.

She also got to see Santa at the mall. We had her picture taken with him. She didn't seem to be scared. She was such a trooper with all the Christmas shopping. She did great.
